Down with the Sickness

Well, my wife and I have both been sick since last weekend. We’ve had some horrible little bug that has attacked our sinuses and worked its way down into the chest. It seems to have set up shop there and refuses to vacate no matter what we throw at it.

I’ve been working on a couple of major deals for the day job, but it has been a struggle with my head feeling like a tethered balloon. I hope to have some rather exciting news in that sector sometime over the next month or so.

I have to fly to New Orleans this week to finish up one of the two projects I’d been working down there. I’m nearly done and to tell the truth, I can’t wait to have that whole ordeal behind me.

Ok, so back to the sickness. What is the best way to relieve severe chest congestion (if not out right eliminate it)?

go get some mucinex. seriously that stuff breaks up the chest gunk like no other OTC thing out there. I have used it on myself and on my kids. lots of fluids and yes, your mom is right about the hot shower too. feel better soon.

I have seen Indian Auyrvedic Himalya drugs being sold over the counter at various places in the US. If you can get one called SEPTILIN there, it works like magic & cures the worst chest congestion in just one day flat!

If you are finding it hard to breathe, then a nebulizer pump ( used by asthma patients)will provide tremendous instant relief!

I feel that having a cold bug makes you the miserablest! You can't call yourself really sick & then again you feel like you have never felt worse!

I would have helped you to help yourself with yoga to get well in a day. But I can't help you from here!

Not sure if you can get it where you are but my granny swore that Vick rubbed on your chest would cure you overnight!

Hi, James: I've got some kind of crud, too. Also related to sinuses. ENT found a cyst in left sinus cavity. Makes all teeth on the left hurt when it swells. Painful. So, don't know if I'm getting a cold or if the cyst is flaring. Doc says he could take it out--but may damage other facial nerves. Wonderful. So, I just complain! Hope it goes away soon. Hope you guys perk up, too!

even though I am few days late, Lime told you what I would have. I have never saw anything work as quickly and efficiently as Mucinex, however from what I have seen the pills work better.

Hope you and Mrs. James feel better now.

HUGS to you both.

Zanex (I think that's what it's called. Not the happy pills but the cold remedy stuff OTC.) Mucinex? Never tried it but I hear good things. Sorry you aren't feeling well. Get better soon.

James, I hope you are felling well enough now.

I shall be coming with an article on your book sometime next week! :) Have been helping my son with his literature assignment lately!

Take care
