Friday 55

Welcome to Friday 55. The object of the game is to write a story using exactly 55 words. If you participate, be sure to drop a comment at G-Man’s blog so others will know how to find your story.

Eyes so big, they seem out of place on something so small. The mother watches her, heart torn, mind conflicted. How doe she explain? Helpless, she pulls the child close. “You can bring him back, baby”. The child’s body shudders under the weight of sobs. “Why did you take your brother out on the ice?”

I now have the Friday position over at Oh, Get a Grip!. This week’s topic is Bucket Lists. What are some of the things you want to do before you kick the bucket?

lol, I may have to give up playing myself. Now that summer is here, it will be harder and harder to keep me in front of the computer for very long. :D

Sorry for the tears...

this made me think of an item in this weeks news... a singer's teenage son accidentally backed their SUV over their 5 year old daughter, killing her. horrible tragedy.

and on that note...happy friday?

:)

Thanks, Ciara. I guess I had a meloncholy streak yesterday. :D

Thank you, Ak. I'll try to be more cheerful next week. :D

Oh, that IS horrible, phain. Can you imagine having to live with that for the rest of your life?

Thanks, G-man. I think I'll have to shoot for upbeat next time. :D

Much obliged, Donnetta. You have a great weekend also. :D

Hey James. My eye fell on your profile just...

Now I am wondering what kind of guys are the ones that mamma warns us about, since my mamma never did warn me about any kind!?!... she never ha the time , nor I guess the inclination...
Infact I feel mamma let us make our own mistakes to let us find out for ourselves...

But books did teach me a lot on that one aspect, a did experience :D

I am reading your book slowly & have not finished it yet, since I had hordes of guests who came a visiting & that hardly left me any time to get online.

ttys. Take care

PS> does your computer emanate sun rays, such that it makes you difficult to be by it during summers?

*Joking* ..seriously... :D :D

Thanks, Smarmy.

lol, it was meant as a joke, Mona. :D but I've heard that said in recent conversation (not about me mind you) and thought I'd throw it in there. I try to add a new message up there from time to time. :D

I hope you are enjoying the read. :D

Thank you, redheels.
